MARC HUFFMAN
Marc Huffman is a Westchester resident and is a long-time active member of the community, having served on the Lincoln Streetscape Ad Hoc Committee and Planning and Land Use Committee of the Westchester/Playa del Rey Neighborhood Council, the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce, the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, the Pacific Area Community Police Advisory Board, and the Board of Directors for the Alcott Center for Mental Health Services. Marc has been a WSIA board member since 2011, and has served as President since 2023.
Marc's career spans over 30 years in real estate development, entitlements, investment, brokerage, and urban/environmental planning. Marc was Vice President of Planning & Entitlements for Playa Capital Company and Brookfield Residential from 2006 to 2021, and played a key role in the approval and development of the Playa Vista community. In 2021, Marc founded MH Land Use Consulting, and has provided land use and entitlement consulting services for a number of projects in northern and southern California.
Prior to joining Playa Vista, Marc worked as a planning and environmental consultant for seven years. During that time, he was involved with a wide variety of projects throughout California, including major office, retail and mixed use projects, residential subdivisions, affordable housing and mixed-income housing developments, several hospital and medical centers, and a number of educational projects.
Marc received both his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Masters Degree in Urban Planning from USC.
